The one piece of hardware that I have more trouble with than anything else, besides possibly the internal compass, is the Airspeed sensor.
Trying to find a good location for it that is not easy to damage is nearly impossible. After looking at the new Parrot Disco, their implementation of the airspeed sensor seems very clean, durable, and easy to integrate in many types of planes.
Is there any work to update the airspeed sensor? Possibly something like the Parrot Disco is using?
Also, some sort of cover you can easily put on the pitot tube to run the preflight calibration without having to hold your hands over it and not touch the sensor?
Better yet, any updates on the development of an AOA sensor for ardupilot?
