Three weekends ago I accidentally burned my mux chip out on my APM v1.0 (ATMega1280) board. Whoops, so I order a new APM (ATMega2560) from the DIY Drones store. After soldering up the pins and getting everything mounted back into my rig I load up the ACM 2 beta. (Yes, I know it's a beta)
Everything seems great up unitl I attempt to "level" from the setup CLI. Upon gyro and accel calibration I notice that X,Y,Z are all zeros. Hmm.... that's weird. So I open up the APM mission planner and go to the ACM 2 sensor readings. Nothing, everything is flat lined.
Being stumped I put the IMU back on the original APM v1.0 (ATMega1280) board. Afters some testing, the accel/gyro data is back. Hmm.....? So I transfer IMU on to the new APM (ATMega2560)..... nothing. Everything else seems to work, just no luck with the accels or gyros.
Then like an OCD patient I re-soldered every pin on the APM. Tested again and.... no gyro or accel data.
Am I just an idiot or could this be a hardware problem. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

How are you loading the code? Are you using the Mission Planner to get the latest firmware?
Also, have you reset the EEPROM and otherwise done a proper setup?
