Hey all - I'm totally new to drones and would like your thoughts on what package I should get that allows me to fly a drone up over a mountain and I could do a scenic film. I'd fly it maybe a mile away at the furthest point, and it would fly out of my field of view when it's behind the mountain. It would have a camera like a GoPro mounted on it. I'm not shooting Hollywood movies, but I'd like fairly professional looking video that would look really good on YouTube. If the footage was useful for a film, great, but that's not the main need.
So I'd like a recommendation, ideally on a package that would include:
- The drone, and a controller
- Goggles to see what its seeing and to know where it aim the drone (or to aim the camera if that's independently operable)
- A camera mount (not sure if I need a gimbal to get a steady shot)
- Any other gear (seriously, I have no idea what all I need)
- Instruction on how to fly it
Budget: Ideally I'd do this (not including camera cost) for around $2k. But I'd be open to recommendations for more expensive kits if that's necessary. Thanks in advance!

I suppose it could be done for around $2,000 but it depends on what compromises you're willing to accept. Is this just something you're interested and want to do just because you can? Or is there a more specific goal in mind? If you have a link to a video that you have seen that is similar can you post it? It will give an idea of what your expectations are for the video.
