hi all first post so hi to you all, i am building my first quad its a bumble bee with extended arms carrying a gopro 3, i have a spektrum 8, and have just ordered an ardupilot mega 2.5 plus, i am going with the stock bumble bee motors for now, i am looking for a stable quad, any comments on do and donts would be great

what i wanted to know is do i load the copter firmware and if so what version or do i stay with whats on the unit now

    The APM does not come with any firmware loaded. Read and study the wiki. You'll need a USB cable and a copy of the mission planner. Read the wiki it explains all, then come back with questions.

    Always stick to the latest officially released firmware in the download section and resd the WiKi very well.

    Go to youtube and see instructional videos that can help you save a lot of time. Just search under 'APM2.5'
