I am wanting to know if by moving my front arms forward and the back arms closer would I bennifet from making it into a X shape at all... I have a 2014 Qu4d from steadidrone. I have all DJI gear in because I have had so many friends have there qu4ds crash...So I have a ton of spares..........
Also does anyone know where the best place to get a 4s 5200Mah battery from ...

Thank you John for your reply. I am wanting to do it for a more stable flight. I find that in the amost V shaped front its very agile and responsive... I am not complaing about that, for fun its amazing. For stable flights and professional videos and pictures its not. I am wanting a X shaped.. I have considered the Maveric or the X steadidrone. But the cost is silly. I am getting better quality videos with my DJI phantom 2 than I am with the Steadidrone Qu4d 2014. I am going to loose the front gimbal and put retracts on and install a H3-3D gimbal on the bottom. I am also changing the ESC from 25 amps (I know its a block) to a 30amp. I need to this to be suitable for stable flight and long flight times.. I use a 5200 mah battery.. but I am considering a 5500 or even 6000 4s. I am also considering changing motors.. but I will try the 12 inch props first for stability... obviously various types from wood to carbon fibre.
