So ive looked through the forums and havent really seen anything that would help me out.
My problem: When the 3DR 915Mhz radios are connected for telemetry, i get about 30 feet of range with the USB hooked to my Note 3, and i see significant signal loss at 100-150 feet connected to my Surface pro and MP. This cant be right, and i cant figure out how to extend the range.
This log was me setting the Quad in my driveway, walking out to the road(direct LOS) which is a 100-150 feet roughly, back again, then i set the quad on my car, and walked back out and in again... i was down to 60% signal at 100-150ft. 2015-04-21%2022-29-53.rlog
The highest signals were with the antennas about 6 inches away.

Hi,
Are you sure you have not switched the handset antenna with the telemetry radio antenna?
Usually the radios' antennas have a colored dot at the base, so that you can match them.

Id this 3DR radio or Chinese clone?
If 2nd option - throw it away and make sander-style or GP antenna for proper freq.
