Newbie question

hey,

my friend is helping me setup up my Ardu gear for me. We are having a few teething problems.

We programmed the Autopilot and I finally got it done with the 2.5.1 code. I'm still having trouble programming the IMU and can’t find any tutorial any where for it.

Not sure wether you program it as a stand alone unit or with it connected to the autopilot?

I'm also having problems down loading the auto pilot code 2.6, all the other versions are available in a Zipped format but the 2.6 isn't. They recon you use a program call tortise, i download it but not sure how it works.

is this what people use or is there an easier way to do this ?

and help would be appreciated.

The manual for ArduIMU is right on the product listing in the store. It's here. You program it separately from ArduPilot.

2.6 is still in alpha, so if you really are a newbie it might be a little rough-edged for you. That why we haven't released it as a zip file yet, since we don't want to handle tech support for non-experts during the alpha-test period.

But if you really want to have a go anyway, you can download the files straight from the repository here. Make sure you get all of them and put them in a folder called "ArduPilot_2_6"
