Hi, i am completly new here an i wanted a stabilized Return to launch system with gps, so i ordered the following from sparkfun:GPS-00574 Interface Cable for EM401 and EM406PRT-00743 Break Away Female Headers - Swiss Machine PinPRT-00117 Break Away Headers - Machine PinPRT-00116 Break Away Headers - StraightDEV-09115 FTDI Basic Breakout - 5VGPS-08975 32 Channel LS20031 GPS 5Hz ReceiverGPS-08785 ArduPilot - Arduino Compatible UAV Controller w/ ATMega328I still have the sensors from the fma at home, the reciver/control unit from the fma is broken but the sensors are ok i guess, just the reciver/controll unit from the fma touched the water in a crash into a lake :-(My question is about how to power the Gps Board (i took the 5hz version for faster update which uses 3.3V). I am confused i read about that board which could be used but then it read it has problems with the volage and so on. Is there a nice way to connect it available now and where can i order it?I already thought about buying a dual DC/DC converter which takes a wide range of voltage in and gives 5 and 3.3V output. But the things i have found are quite heavy.Has anybody a better solution for me?Can anybody please tell me if i have anything i need to get startet with the board itself?
