Nitro Planes Skymaster 337 81"

Hi, Im from over on the FPV side and Im entertaining the idea of making the Nitro Planes 337 into a video platform.
My goal is to make a large "UAV-esque" looking plane that resembles the military and recreational UAV's and drones that you guys operate sometimes, instead of the small foamie planes that usually get chosen for FPV.

Ive been on DIYDrones and read that some people have used the 337 as a UAV, converted to pusher-only.

But has anyone actually converted one? Ive yet to find one done as a pusher and I'd love to ask a few questions about final weight, glide, and power.
Thanks
Matt

Matt, I bought one this summer and am slowly working on the Econversion.

I have one or two pics on "My Page", but will add better ones soon.

I waffled between the smaller version or the larger 81"... glad I went for the big one!

The motor is way overkill and the prop is 18", so takeoffs will have to be gentle to avoid tip strike, but with the two 4000mah batteries, I hope to have good loiter capability.

Not being in the 'states, I don't worry about Homeland Security or FAA busting down my door and weighing my plane, but that seems to be where everyone is moving, so perhaps monster airframes may not help a person stay off the fed's radar. (both figuratively and literally!)

I've got one. Very nice kit. Haven't built, flown or converted it yet, however.
