Hi folks,
I've just noticed that the logs / tuning graph shows RC 6/7/8 having output even though there is no actual output. Once I press the safety switch then the outputs really do spring to life.
I have channel 6/7/8/9 set to rcPassThru (1) and watch the values in the graph shows the outputs correspond to the inputs however there is no actual output (I put a small servo on as a tester).
Once the safety switch is pressed then the servo springs to live and does what it's told.
I don't think this is right that the output is shown to be changing when it is not. The same does not happen for channel 3.
I am using channels 6/7/8/9 for my gimbal and while testing the functionality of it, I would rather not be operating in a no-safety-switch environment.
Is this expected?
If so, could a param be set to allow a certain channel, if set to bypass, always output?
Could the output tuning graph not show an output if it's being blocked by the safety switch?
I will log these as bugs and features requests if they are.
Using Pixhawk, all latest MP and firmware.
Thanks
Crispin
