No data displayed on MinimOSD when using TBS core

Hi,

I have a TBS Discovery frame, and have recently added a TBS core to power the camera, TX and MinimOSD.

I have the two solder blobs added to the MinimOSD, so i'm not powering via the APM port (the +5v from APM isn't even connected).

When i power it with the TBS Core, then the video feed works, but there's no data present on the OSD (it's just a video) - I don't even connect to the APM at this point. If I don't use the Core at all, and power from a Y splitter from the 3S battery, then I get OSD data present on the video (again, no connection to the APM).

Just wondered if anyone had any ideas about where to go from here?

    turns out the camera i was using was set to PAL, and this was confusing the OSD. Why it worked when using a separate battery, i know not...

    Here's a rudimentary connection explanation and some further symptoms:

    camera > core > minimOSD video in > VTX

    If i disconnect the camera, then i get data appearing on the video feed - as soon as i plug the camera, the data disappears but i get the camera video.
