Finally i got simulating to work (only with plane).

I'm using X-plane 10 & MP 1.2.27

First off all my throttle is very low, so i have to pump up the values throttle gain in MP simulation tab. This way i have no option to slow down the throttle but at least i can take off and fly. (My radio is calibrated in MP and throttle is working fine here, and yes i also armed in MP)

That brings me to the next. In X-Plane I must choose an airport for takeoff. Since i'm already communicate with X-Plane from MP and my APM is connected via USB with compass and coordinates, why does my plane in X-plane show up at my chosen closest airport (80 km away)?.
To hit my set of waypoints close to my house takes very looong time (very boring) and give me a long "setback" if i do something experimental and must start up from airport again. Gives me this struggled feeling and harms my creativity.

Should i choose an option in X-plane instead of choosing airport so my coordinates on my Quad will be "home"?

Some goods links for instructions on this configuration?

Thanks a lot to all of the developers and helpfully pros...

The reason i bought APM 2.5 and jumped on this project instead of RTF DJ Naza was this fantastic community. I know from earlier projects that no documentation & manuals AND support can compare to a forum like this.

  • Somebody know the answer to my throttle problem??

  • Hi Walther,

You need to make a new custom airport near to where you live, X-planes uses a data base of actual world airports and defaults to start at the airport that you have chosen from this data base.

You can find information about how to create a new runway on the X-plane forum.
