Which laptop are you using guys for outdoor mission planning ?

I did read this thread a few monthes ago, but the modification seems quite hazardous and complicated.
I would prefer to buy something ready to go but unfortunately those transflective screen laptop seems quite difficult to get here at a reasonnable price.
There is a thread I think on DIYD about removing the backlight on a laptop and using reflected sunlight to illuminate the back of the LCD and make it very readable - haven't tried it myself and it may require a sacrificial laptop!
