Nudging the throttle

I'm using ArduPlane 1.73. One question .When in auto mode, I can nudge the throttle. What happens when I go out of TX range. Does it go back to default 45% or will it remain on the nudged setting?

    Interesting question.
    BTW: Throttle nudge doesn't seem to work on 2.74b.
