Only manual mode working on APM 2.0

Hi everybody!

I've been trying a lot of things but none of them seems to explain what's going on.

I have a flysky 9x with er9x firmware. I have the 3 pos switch button programmed to work as a mode changer. In fact this are the flight modes I have set up so far:

pos 0 -> manual

pos 1-> stabilizer

pos 2-> auto

When I plug APM 2.0 trhough USB wire I can calibrate the radio and flight modes and everything seems to work ok. I can see how flight modes changes as expected.Configuration of Modes and calibration are of course, saved.

However, when I remove the USB wire and plug the battery ready to fly, I start with manual mode and everything works perfect, controls act as expected. However, when I change mode to stabilizer, not only the plane does not react to movement but I can't control it throw the radio. At the time of the mode change to stabilizer, I can hear a really low jitter on servos and then, all the servos do is that, jitter when I try to control it throught the radio. The plane does not react to any movement.
However, if I turn manual mode I get back the control of the plane.

What do you think guys?

I am powering the board through a ESC/BEC on the output side. When I first receive the board, I did a quick set-up and I was able to see the stabilized mode in action, so this makes it a bit more weird.

Thanks to all!

  • I've been digging a bit about this problem. I've read that throttle doesn't work on the ground on some modes. However, I am talking about stabilize mode and apparently motor should work in this mode.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

  • When the Stab P is too low, you won't have (enough) control.  What are your parameters.
