As we all know one of the most exciting parts of flying a UAV is watching/flying from their point of view. Seeing what things look like when your staring down at them. The purpose of this discussion is to share and inform followers about video cameras and video goggles on the market.~personal favorite when it comes to video camera/video goggles~Installation methods~Comparisons~Website Links~New technology you caught wind of~Placement you find best (wing, nose, belly, tail)Thank You,John Beckket

does anyone know a supplier of video goggles with just one lense? I would like to try something like this instead of having to take a TV out with me but I'm not comfortable with not being able to see whats happening around me using standard goggles.
I'm using the 900mhz 500mw dpcav transmitter and their matching dual output reciever.
RangeVideo DX201 Camera.
Headplay Goggles
Eagletree OSD
Eagletree Pro Recorder
I like the setup so far, just need to add head tracking.
Then I'll add an ArduPilot when the IMU Mega unit comes out
Great idea for discussion, I would like to equip my plane eventually and have zero knowledge in this area so will probably be asking a lot of questions. first one-
I have a pair of MY VU soloPlus goggles that I would like to try to use, has anyone have any experience with model?

This site offers a few Video Cameras, OSD, Video Goggles, and many more accessories. It has fair prices and quality products from my experience

You might want to try this website for FPV equipement: http://www.dpcav.com/xcart/home.php?
They tend to be cheaper for some hardware than Range Video.
Here is a link to a good FPV forum: http://www.rc-cam.com/listbot.htm
