I have started a Google spreadsheet that compares the features of the top open source autopilot software projects out there. It's editable by anyone, so please contribute. It's at:https://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=0Anr6lYEvD8yWdF9HX0FJQTd3R0RxVll1RWFlMU8zRUE&hl=en&authkey=CIKbmaUN#gid=0I think I have listed all the basic features, and now I would like to see the more advanced features added. This is just a software comparison, not hardware. So list hardware that a software project supports as a feature.I only have six software projects listed currently:AeroQuadArduPilotOpenPilotPaparazziPIXHAWKROSThere are literally hundreds of "open source" autopilot software projects out there, so we can't compare all of them. I think the spreadsheet should concentrate on the top active projects. They should have a website with an active community (not just a forum post), and the code should be in a publicly available repository (not just a zip file). If you find a new feature or sensor you would like to see supported, just add it and put a link to more information in the 'Notes" column. If a feature is being worked on, but not yet released, put WIP in the status cell for that project.I am a noob at all of this, so I appreciate any help from the more experienced of you.David

Thank you to whoever added the sensor information for ArduPilot. The crowd sourcing has begun! It would be great if everyone looking at the spreadsheet and sees an error or omission just fixed that one thing. It would take shape quickly.
Is anyone here familiar with the Work In Programs features that will be possible with the new ARM processor main board support being added to ArduPilot?

Is this still being updated? I am extremely interested to find out more about these projects. I see some projects such as MWC is not up there...
