I have a minim OSD and a Micro OSD and I can only occasionally communicate with them. I just bought a second FTDI and it also gives the error 'Failed to talk to boot loader'. A week ago it started working and I could download the settings and upload them after changes. Then it stopped working. I have connected the Rx, Tx, VCC, and Gnd connections. The FTDI board delivers 5v.Is there a trick I am missing? Thanks,David

if it's a bad clone, with internal-oscillator for microcontroller, or an imprecise resonator , it could have to do with temperature that affects baud rate, otherwise it's just defective..
