So, here in TN on Aug 21st me and the crew headed downtown to visit the festival before the Eclipse main event. Afterwards we headed a mile down the road to kill some time at the park (I just happened to bring the quad).
We were approached by two park rangers while we worked through our flight plan, who advised us we could not launch without a permit... so we had to leave...
Fast forward, I've been asked by a couple coaches to capture a soccer game from overhead ( not directly )
This will be at a local county park....
Question, is anyone used to filing for a permit to get aerial footage in a state or county park?
(No, I'm not selling it , redistributing or broadcasting )
