Hi Folks,
I have a stock 3DR with APM2 (default PID parameters) and sonar.
This is the first time I've flown the APM2, having upgraded from the APM1.something.
Whenever I pitch it forward, it does as expected but gains a lot of altitude rather quickly. I don't recall the APM1 being like this. Keeping the throttle the same as in the hover, it moves forward but climbs about 30 degrees or so.

Is the altitude hold switched on? or is this in stabilize mode?
