PIXHAWK and Telemetry

Hello everyone,

Using telemetry (3dr radios), is it possible to change to a new mission (different waypoints) in the air once a set of waypoints had been issued on the ground?

I asked because I have been reading the forums, but I have not found much info on this. I don't want to use Mavlink, juts telemetry to update/change waypoints in the air.

Thanks for any information provided on this question.

  • Yes.
    • Thanks for the response. But I have been reading the instructions on MAVlink, and I am not quite clear what I have to set up to run it. I read that I just have to add a file to the main problem.I also read that using qgroundcontrol might be better than using MP. Can you please direct me to a link that I could follow better as far as the set up?

      Thanks

      • well, you can use MP, if you are stuck in the windows era :) , or want to test how far MONO can help you running the .net mess on other platforms.

Then you have APM Planner (based on qgroundcontrol)  - which is truly multiplatform and much faster UI.

For Android you have Droidplanner (Tower) / Andropilot.
