PIxhawk Compass setting in mission planner / 3DR Compass

Hi all,

I've got an odd thing happening with my setup.

In mission planner I select : intial setup / mandatory hardware / compass

Then as I've got a 3DR external compass plugged into the pixhawk I select PIXHAWK/PX4

The setting seems to save.. however the next time I load mission planner and go back the setting is then set as manual/rotation none.

Any ideas and does this happen to everyone?

    @Will,

    I believe that setting is saved even though returning to the compass page shows manual/rotation/none.

    I assume that you calibrated the compass after selecting the correct FC?

      Aha great stuff

      I'd been selecting APM with external due to the picture of the 3DR compass

      I had the maiden flight at the weekend as I was suffering very odd GPS lock issues of loiter being violently off, I'm hoping this dud setting (on my part) was the issue, fingers crossed.

      With the right setting now I'm managing to get 7 sattelites even though I'm sat indoors, so this seems way better than last week
