Pixhawk internet connection?

Hi, this is my first post.

I want to log data and send camera images to an API that I'm developing, after a lot of research I still lost.

It seems like the best solution is to connect the Pixhawk to a Raspberry Pi using the usb port and then connect a 3g or LTE modem to the Raspberry Pi to send the stuff.

I found to the DroneDeploy copilot to, but it doesnt work out of the states and it seems like the use the same method.

There isn't a easier way ?
