Please how to modify a simple APM source

I now have a project for ArduPilot mega 2560 being.

I would like to know. How to modify a simple APM source
For example, when connected to the battery to modify the color of the LED

May be another example.
If the source can change even a little ......


I'm a student. Do not know anything. Starting phase.
But to me that at any given time in a month.
Please help me (T-T)
