Poor man's gimbal question

I put my Phantom 1 F40 camera on my new IRIS+ and used a servo to tilt the camera. It works great but one problem I have is getting enough pitch change to keep the camera stabilized. It needs to apply more tilt when the quad is tilted when moving forward. In mission planner I do not see a stability pitch gain control for camera. Any ideas sort of moving the pivot point?
