Power Distribution Board versus Battery Eliminator Circuit

I am a newbie to all of this stuff. Can someone please explain to me what a Power Distribution Board is? And also what is the difference between a Power Distribution Board and a Battery Eliminator Circuit?

Hi,

a power distribution board is used to distribute your battery power to the ESCs of your drone (motor controllers).

A BEC is used to convert your battery DC voltage to the required DC voltage of your flight controller or other component. Usually 5V (some BECs can be configured to output different voltage levels)
