Power module down for the count

My power module doesn't seem to be providing 5 volts any longer.  While I'm waiting for a new power module could I power the entire APM with my BEC by installing JP1 without hurting anything?

    Keep JP1 off. Use the UBEC for 5v into the inputs. Use BEC power or another UBEC on the output side for servo use.
