Processing Logs In Mission Planner

Im trying to process my flight logs in the mission planner. i have APM version 2.012 beta which I installed to my APM using the firmware update feature. I also have the latest HappyKillmore GCS along with Google Earth and necessary plugins.

After my flights I use the mission planner to download my logs. I see on the CLI the logs being dumped etc. In mission planner when I click reacreate logs I see one line saying logs are processing and then nothin thereafter. I can navigate to my log folder and click on .kml and .kmz files which launches google earth. Then planet earth comes to view and then stays focused above the usa. i do not see my flight paths etc.

My test log files are usually 35k. the .kml and .kmz log files are very small, around 5k. Can someone help me to solve my issue?

Thanks

Erik

  • Same for me. But maybe something is wrong with my Google Earth, although I've reinstalled it.

    So to clear things off:
    download selected log
click 'first person KML' and select that log (*.log)
it should say something like that:
    Log]

    Processing C:\%MY_PATH%\APM Mission Planner\logs\26-03-11 05-52 1.log

then no message like 'Done' appears
go to Logs folder and double click on that newly created KMZ file (or KML?)
after GE opens, hit play button... and nothing happens =(
    Am I doing something wrong?

P,S. I've updated to latest APM which is 0.4.19
