Hi! I'm using an octocopter with gps and a pixhawk and I am wondering how to do the following.
I want the drone to takeoff at the flip of a switch, and fly to 50 meters and hold its attitude. And then land when the switch is flipped again. I don't want any horizontal movement with the drone, just vertical movement.
How can I best achieve this?

This can be easily achieved with Auto mode. Read this link:
