Srinath, you can always find these kits from jDrones, If stocks are gone from elsewhere, jDrones has stock due we are manufacturers of these ArduCopter kits. Even now there are full framekits in stock.
You will need at least a 20C 3s 11.1v and 1500mha's should = 3min fly time +/- your setup.
I'm going to use a 20C 3cell 11.1v 2200mha. If i need more time then i will double up and use 2 of these packs wired in parallel. You could use one 20C 3cell 11.1v 4000mha, If you need more flight time increase mha's.
Flight times will very due to weight and motor & prop selection.
Just be patient, I was able to purchase my full kit 2 days ago! they get 4 to 5 kits per week (as far as I can see)
yes you can order it all yourself from many sites and get a result not too far from this but I think for beginner it's easier and ultimately maybe cheaper (multiple shipping costs)
you still need to order your Lipo and TX from other sites so start doing the math like I did and you will see that the jdrones option are not too expensive overall. Plus it comes with support and you will make new friends!
I have started my Quadcopter build and have bought my ArduPilot Mega and IMU from DIY-Drones store. I ordered the motors, ESC, batteries, and radio from Hobby King, witch now I wish I had just spent the extra money vs waiting for HK. Quadcopters don't use the airspeed sensor. They use GPS for speed, but it's nice. :)
As for your frame... It's a lot cheaper to go to HomeDepot or Lowes and pickup 2 24''square sticks of Alluminium tubing, some rivets and a Alluminium sign. $15.00

On next week there will be full kits in stock too.
And you don't need airpseed sensor, quads does not use those.

Thanks everyone,
Where can i order the Li-ion batteries and battery charger? Can these be shipped by air?
Is there a minimum voltage/power rating to choose for the batteries?
