PWM range not changing on MP Flight Mode Screen

Hi everyone,

Starting to use the Mission Planner Software and went through all calibration modules already. Had a decent flight changing modes with MP so radio is working fine. I'm now trying to configure a couple of switches, no 6 flight mode just a simple RTL failsafe and a three state switch for three flight modes or less.

The problem I'm having is that in the Flight Mode calibration module the detected PWM range doesn't change (1492 - 1620 ) when flicking the switches. So I only have one with a green background color. The previous radio calibration did show a response to channel 5 and 7 and their corresponding states to which I've assigned the switches on the transmitter.

My current hardware is the folowing:

- Taranis Plus With OpenTX 2.0.9

- X8R reciever

- Arduplane

- Pixhawk

My final goal is to change flight modes through the transmitter and not the computer. Any help greatly appreciated.

  • I had a problem with changing of PWM value to set different flight modes. As I toggled my three position switch which is already set to channel 5 nothing was happend. The problem was solved by connecting of receiver (I have FS-iA6) output channel 5 to board (I have APM 2,8) input channel 5. That's it! You can set and change your flight modes or everything You want!

  • Hey, I have the same problem on my APM 2,8 board and Flysky-i6 transmitter. Have you solved this problem?
