  • Hi can anybody give me advice ..i have nearly finished my quadcopter..can anybody tell me how the RC receiver on the quadcopter get's it's power is it a separate battery as standard.....one parts supplier told me it gets its power through the control board...but if that is the case where on the control board is the power take off to the receiver ( board is an HK ) kind regards Mike
  • No bullet connectors but i have ordered some...just other question..when trying each one separately..do you bypass the control board on the quadcopter..connect motor to esc and then connect esc direct  to channel 3 on the receiver and the use channel 3 on rx to check rotation...Mike

  • These brushless motors are essentially 3-phase motors, the ESC pulses the three wires in sequential order.

The direction they spin is down to the order of the wires.

So connect the three wires however you want, and if it spins the wrong way swap any two of them over and that will reverse the motor.

  • Did you have bullet connectors?

If so, plug then like you want, an then try your motors and esc separately in your ch3 of your rx.

If there is one  or more motors turning in the wrong side, invert two wire and try again .
