Quadcopter weight problem, low flight times

My quadcopter is V type frame.

Motors Emax 2213 / 935KV / 1045 props

Slightly soft props, not much like phantom but they are not rigid

4000 Mah 3s Lipo

APM 2.6

total weight of quad copter = 1600 grams

giving only 9 ~ 10 mins in a no wind condition and mostly loiter / hover

How can i increase my flight time (i cannot reduce the weight more)  ??

suggest me motor / prop upgrades .

Thanks

Move to a 4s battery, get lower Kv motors, increase prop size, optimize lift target for 1.15x weight at the most efficient arc for your motor/prop combo.

    Use: http://www.ecalc.ch/xcoptercalc.php?ecalc&lang=en
    • Dear Michael

Thank you for replying, can you please explain this in little detail

optimize lift target for 1.15x weight at the most efficient arc for your motor/prop combo.

  • Obviously it will need to be retuned, and be no where near as acrobatic, but it depends on what you are after....

  • Depends on the largest size of props your frame will handle, if you can get 15" props on, then swap your motors to 350-500 kv pancake motors, and double your batteries up, you will get at least 20mins....

    • Thank you Dave for the reply.

Can you please guide can i continue my 3s battery setup and ESC if i change to 500kv pancake motors and 15" props ?
