Hi all.I was wondering if you where aware of the multi rotor platforms as sensor carriers. They have a profile mostly like a helicopter (as opposed to a fixed wing platform), but are much easier to control.So, if hovering in one spot is your goal, it may be worth looking into.There is a bunch of nice videos taken on youtube - search for quadrokopter, mikrokopter, armokopter in turn.Cheers,Thomas
