Question about reversing channels

The mission planner radio configuration screen has the ability to reverse channels, and I've already corrected my pitch channel so that the elevator behaves correctly in stabilized mode. My question is this: How do I know if the rudder needs to be reversed or not? Is there a standard way the bar graphs are supposed to move in the configuration screen that I could use to test?

When you tilt the plane the rudder should deflect towards the ground. The idea being it stops the tail dropping when banking.
  • The rudder should function the same in the airplane regardless of the MP RC cal bars.

Generally the bars would move in the direction of the stick movement but actuation on the flight surface needs to be check, of course, on the ground.

If you find it reversed after calibration, reverse it on the TX side and it should move as normal.
