I have seen in a few places people using a carbon rod in the tail and carbon strips in the wings to help stiff up the easy star. I was wondering if using that in those places would it effect and of the ardu equipment? Does it only effect things if its completely surrounded by it? I have nothing transmitting or receiving on the tail section of my plane. I want to stiffen up these areas but not add interference issues at the same time.
Thanks

As long as you keep the receiver antennae on the outside of any carbon fiber rod reinforcement, and don't shield your GPS behind any carbon fiber components you should be fine. If you use xbee the same applies.
