The last two pages have videos on them where I go through some of the details so that might be useful...

Find flight modes in the log browser is a bit difficult. You have to manually scroll through the log to find the modes changing. If you have telemetry you can graph the tlog file within the Flight Data screen under Telemetry Logs. To see flight mode changes you need to click on and graph custom_mode. You can analysis you regular logs using Excel.
