Recommended way to setup cyclic range ?

Hi,

on all the other FBL systems I have you set your collective travel (i.e. +/-10°-12°) and the cyclic for 7-8°. With 3.3 you do the collective, but I never found anything to adjust the cyclic in this or in older versions, therefore I used Dual Rate on the TX. Is there a better way to do it ?

    Yes, the proper way to adjust this is with H_ROLL_MAX and H_PITCH_MAX. This scales the cyclic output.

      my mistake, I was thinking H_ROLL_MAX and H_PITCH_MAX are the limits for the helicopter, but in reality the limits are for the swash plate.

      Do you set up your heli with 7° to 8° cyclic - just wondering as the default of 2500 gives me a lot more on my helis ?

        I actually don't always pay attention to the mechanical range, though I should.  I suspect I actually end up with more like 12 degrees of cyclic pitch.  On some helis this isn't really clear in the manual how high to set it.
