Hi guys, well i´ve been thinking about the replacement of my FMA thermo sensors by 2 axis gyro unit(with code implemented for noise filtering) for my OSD wich gives me a pitch & roll visual indication for flying my UAV trainer,..is anyone here that already tested and implement such thing like this ?Gil
A two axis gyro will not give you pitch and roll for long. Gyros drift in a matter of seconds and unless you have a full IMU (gyros plus accelerometers) you can't correct them.
There are plenty of full IMUs out there, including on this site, but it's a bigger deal than just adding a sensor.
