I'm in search of an inexpensive, ready-to-fly quadrocopter. I'm wondering if anything has been done with this with the Arduino? Specifically I'm more interested in programming and hacking, not necessarily building an entire quadcopter.
I feel like there must be something out there that's ready to fly for under $200 or $300.'
Maybe I could rephrase my question: what's the least expensive RTF quadcopter that can either be hacked / programmed?
Thanks for your help!

Not saying I would buy one of these, but for $99, add a flight controller, a radio and a 30C battery and you should have a fair machine. Many people love these lattice frames.

For flight controllers you can hack around with, I think there are two. MWC, which is about $60 or an APM2 for $199. The APM2 has more features and really is a flying programmable robot, where the MWC is more like a model helicopter controller. You get what you pay for. Someone else might be able to suggest other hackables.
