This is for Arduplane and mission planner latest version
I see in MP that I can generate a grid of waypoints, great, now how do I use each waypoint to trigger the camera servo or relay, Which channel is best or configured for this and how do I use the set servo commands to trigger the camera..
as At WP - set CH ? to 1750
Delay 1 second
set CH ? to 1000
Repeat at every waypoint.

I've been wondering the same thing. I see the command to set a servo to "camera trigger," but I don't know what functionality does that provides.
