Hi,

I have a serious problem with the loiter mode on my Quad

Setup:

APM Copter 3.3.3

FC: AUAV-X2

Compass: HMC5883L (Module) mounted on a mast above the FC

GPS: Banggood GPS Module (not using the compass with this module because it does not work):

(http://eu.banggood.com/Wholesale-Warehouse-Ublox-7-Series-Mini-GPS-wCompass-For-APM2_6-APM2_8-PX4-Pixhawk-Mini-APM-MWC-Flight-Controller-Board-wp-Eu-1006319.html)

-> Compass is calibrated well (heading in MP is ok). Motor (Power Interference) calibration is not done yet.

-> GPS module will find 8-10 sats

Problem:

Sometimes the loiter mode does not work after I start flying. I would have to land, disconnect the battery and try again (2-3x) to get it working. Sometimes I would try to enter loiter mode after a few minutes of flying and it workes. I don't get any errors in MP messages. In the logs it says: Err: FLIGHT_MODES-5

A logfile where the loiter mode did not work in the first 5 minutes of the flight, later it did could be found to download/view here:

I think it could have something to do with the compass.....

Also I noticed that only the external compass is showing when doing a live calibration in MP, back in APM Copter 3.2 the internal was also calibrated.

Thanks for any help!
