Sorry, noob here, what is the difference between APM Autopilot Suite and Pixhawk autopilot system? They seem to be from the same company, and do the same thing, is PixHawk just a fork of APM?
thanks

The APMs (1.0, 1.4, 2.0, 2.5/6) ( APM ) use the Atmel family of 8 bit mcus (1280/2560). The Pixhawk ( Pixhawk ) is using an ST32 32 bit processor which is faster and has more memory than the Atmel family of mcus.
