Hi all.

I am putting together a fixed wing UAV with a Pixhawk 2.1 flight controller, four 9-gram servos, dragonlink rx, RFD900 telemetry, and optional FPV gear. I use a 40A ESC with a built in 4A (S)BEC. It is advised to power the RFD900-radio directly from a BEC rather than from the flight controller.

Now I wonder if I can split the 5v line from the built in BEC so that one side goes to the flight controller (powering the servos and dragonlink rx) and the other side goes to the RFD900 radio? This way I can save weight and an additional BEC.

Is there anything I should be concerned about? Noise, ground loops, other things? 4A should be enough to power everything, since the Pixhawk is powered by its own BEC.

Thanks a lot in advance for sharing your knowledge on this
