Stable - simple mode drift

I have seen a number of similar posts like this, but no one has answered to help, so I'll try to word it differently :  Arducopter 2.5, Hexa... while in stable/simple mode, bearing drifts up to 90 degrees. Very troubling. Please help.

    Sounds like your compass or GPS is getting interface. Try moving them away from other electronics or power lines. I've heard that GPS does not like 1.2-1.4mhz communication.
