Hi..

I am not sure how the air start ground start work for standalone operation.

When I compile and run with "#define ENABLE_AIR_START 0" It does calibration and returns good values.

When I compile and run with "#define ENABLE_AIR_START 1" I can not get calibration going, and the values is all over the place.

How do does the "#define GROUNDSTART_PIN 8" work?

Does it do calibration on startup with pin high or pin low? I did try to keep it high and low on startup, but I could not see any Led do calibration flashing, as it would in "efine ENABLE_AIR_START 0".

  • I'm not sure if this helps you or not, but if you connect an old old ardupilot pin 6(I think it is) to the IMU pin 8, it can get a groundstart signal.  I'm guessing it is normally low and then gets a high and that triggers the groundstart, so you'd need a way to mimic that.
