Still have problem with GPS on APM 2.0 NO FIX

A while ago I posted a query in Aerial photography. Thank you Stephen for your reply.

I can not have a fix with the GPS mounted on the APM 2. my quad Is a jDrones built plateforme. I have purchased a U-Blox  D2523T-6 from ADH Technology.  Could some body give me a schematic and the pin out on the board mounted on the APM 2.0, so I can disable the GPS and replace it with the D2523.  I fly the jDrones but I can't do much without the GPS. I have since then, puchased a NAZA auto pilot with GPS and mounted it on a JDX1 platform with motors and ESC from Hobby Wing. The GPS give me a fix with 6 satellites in less than a minutes. Any help will be very much appreciated.

Pi.

  • The firmware on the 3D Robotics MediaTek GPS is custom to allow it to talk to the APM. You might need to flash the firmware if the GPS is from another source. If the GPS module itself isn't getting a fix regardless of the autopilot then not sure what could be going on.
