Hello,
I downloaded the flight logs from my Pixhawk through the Mission Planner Software and saw something strange.
While the X and Y Acceleration Graphs where centered around 0, the Z Acceleration was centered around -10.
Is this normal?
What can be the cause?
Replies
Yep. Gravity.
Thanks for your reply!
As you can see, the Pixhawk enters into FAILSAFE_GCS-1 and later FAILSAFE_GCS-0.
What is the reason?
What does each failsafe mode mean?
Ground Control Station Failsafe.

Thanks for the information.
But I'm still having trouble understanding the graph.
Please walk me through it...
Around time 25 the following error kicks in:
Err: FAILSAFE_GCS-1
It disappears around time 60.
Then around time 100 the following error kicks in:
Err: FAILSAFE_GCS-0
It disappears around time 135.
Then around time 150: FAILSAFE_GCS-1 reappears.
Can you explain exactly what's happening?
I can't say what the difference between FAILSAFE_GCS-0 and FAILSAFE_GCS-1, but in either case, the communications between your ground control station and the machine has been lost. Maybe someone else knows what the difference is.
Since telemetry is non-critical (usually), you can turn it off in Mission Planner. Set FS_GCS_ENABLE to 0.
Thanks for your help.
This is really frustrating. I can't find any information about the
FAILSAFE_GCS-0, FAILSAFE_GCS-1 errors.
