Strange behaviour of motor

Firstly, I have a quastion about the arming of the motor. For my esc, I need to push my throttle to lower right, then on the safety switch of my esc(beep once for each esc), push the throttle to maximum, then it will beep once again, after that push back to min. throttle and it will beep 4 times for each esc. ( I must push the throttle to lower right in order to arm the motor)After that, I see the LED light is blinking at this moment. I start to push my throttle little bit and I obeserved that 3 of the motor starts spinning but one of the motor will spin when I push the throttle further.

I have tried it for many times and I saw that there are always be different motor is not so responsive to the throttle input ( need to push the throttle further then it starts spinning).

I have checked the motor one by one by plug in each of the esc to the receiver throttle channel and all of them are respond well.

Thus, I am wondering whether my power distribution is not good thus cause the motor behave in the strange way? (I connect 4esc power supply to one cable (solder all the wire together) and then the end of the cable join to the connector (to connect with battery)). I am using 13A max esc and my cable is a 14A cable,

The other is whether the calibration of the transmitter has problem? I have calibrated my transmitter by using the configurator tool and it respond to my command. The mid-point is still at 1500.

  • I noticed a problem again. I have tested my flight, (using stable mode), my quadrotor even cannot take off. It always flip over to the sides..... (sometimes left and sometimes is right)I am wondering whether changing a PID value will help in my case?

One question I want to ask is about the strange thing of the stable mode.

When I push my rudder stick to the left, I see the front and rear motors rpm drops and the left and  right motors rpm increase. When I released the stick (the rudder stick go back to its neutral point), the rpm for 4 motors does not go back to the same level. The rpm for the front and rear motors still lower than left and right motors. Is this normal?

When I want to try on acro mode, I have heard a very loud "cloud"'cloud" sound.

I still trying on the acro mode then the result is the same, it flip to the sides again.

I have make sure my TX is on the centre which is 1500.

  • what ESCs do you use?

it is an issue of the ESCs, they are not made for quads (they are for planes, and want you to recalibrate them everytime on startup)

if you really want to use these ESCs, you could  recalibrate them by code (because when you arm them, you have NEVER zero throttle that's why some ESCs are more responsive)

"The other is whether the calibration of the transmitter has problem?"

    No.
