Strange motors behaviour on X6 and Pixhawk

Hi guys,

I have a strange problem with the motors on my Tarot X6 960 that I am setting up.

Details: Pixhawk Arducopter FW 3.3.3, Taranis X9D+ radio, X8R receiver, setup made with APM Planner on Mac. Question about CH.1 to CH.4 behaviour.

Radio calibrated and correctly setup in Mode 3. Radio calibrated also on APM Planner software, everything works well: the PWMs move from min. to middle position to max.

Arming the copter, motors start and I keep the throttle at the minimum, so they spin at the min value setup on APM SW. Raising the throttle, the motors kv grow only from minimum (bottom) throttle position, just up to the middle position (gimbal center, corresponding to 1494 PWM in my case).

From that center position upwards, the motors do not raise kv.

The same if I move the other 1,2 and 4 channels (roll, pitch and yaw): the motors do not change their spin speed.

I'm testing without props and indoor. GPS 3D fix, stabilize mode.

Is it normal?

Thanks.
